The Plan For Tomorrow

Today Ava has been in the c-pap setting pretty much all day. In this setting she is to do all of the work on her own. If she continues to do well, tomorrow they will try to take her off of the vent. Please keep her in your prayers.

Today, mommy painted Ava's toe nails. Ava's primary nurse brought in the cutest little bottle of fingernail polish...it was the sweetest thing to do (I am now on a mission to get one of each color 0. I love her primary. We are so lucky to have nurses that care about Ava that they go beyond our expectations. We got just as lucky with Kaden.

We will say extra prayers for Ava tonight! And if for any reason you don't feel right about it tomorrow, remember you know her best...speak up!
I am so excited you got to polish those little toes:) That was one of my favorite things to do with Gabbers in there, give her a day of spa treatment... nails, toenails, do her hair, massage her little arms and legs...fun stuff!
I hope you got my note yesterday, we missed you again! One of these days it will work out and we will see each other. I need to plan to do lunch with you. Things are getting very tough now, I am not doing much planning.
Take care! Love, hugs, and prayers!!!

I glad Ava is doing better. We will say a extra prayer and keep our fingers crossed that Thursday will be the big day. That is the most fun to sit and paint their little toes and sometime hard because they are so little, you seem to get more on the skin around the nail not toenail itself. Amy, Nate and kaden are in our prayer traveling back and forth each weekend. Remember you will be home sooner then you think. It does not seem like that now.Take care.

We will be thinking about and praying for Ava, and her getting off the vent. It's sweet that she has a little pedicure! Oh, how cute!

Take care,

Ashlea

I know someone that works in KC and she would like to help you out. If you would like to go out to lunch or the store she would bring you. You don't know her all that well, but she is a great person to talk with and very helpful. How would you feel about asking for help from my friend?
