This is video of Ava playing with one of two of her favorite toys. She had just figured out how to make it make noise a day or two prior to this video. I believe this video was taken on two days before she passed. I finally figured out how to download videos on the blog so I wanted to share it with all of you. I will definately be doing more later but right now it is taking too long to do more then one at a time. I hope you enjoy watching her as much as I have the last 3 1/2 months. (Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to rotate it.)

Mommy, daddy, and bubby miss you baby girl. Love you forever and ever...

I know you don't know me I work at RCPD with Nate, but there was something I wanted to pass along to you but didn't want to do so on open forum. I know you are busy, and grieving the loss of baby Ava but whenever you feel up to it, please email me at

thank you,

I can't help but want to hug your family. The video is precious. You are inspiration to me as a mom who tries to do networking for girls and parents that deal with TS an HLHS. Thank you for your strength, and most of all for sharing your hearts and letting people like me into your story. You truly are a family filled with grace, and it's hard for me to understand how things happen to families like yours. Thank you so much for talking about taking things forgranted, I needed that lesson today.

My best regards, condolences, prayer and thoughts!

I am a "you have never met me lurker" on your beautiful blog too. I wanted you to know how you and your children inspire and continue to inspire me every day. How kind of you to share your life and kids with us. Imagine that this little girl who never met me leaves a footprint on my heart. Her life was so worthy and meaningful beyond what you can even imagine because of her impact on people just like me. My son is a pre-schooler with some special issues and Kaden and all his accomplishments keeps me feeling strong and very proud of my own son for every step forward we take. I will look forward to continuing to hear all about Kaden and your thoughs and memories of Ava. Thank you and many blessings to your family.

Amy, Nate and Kaden,

Thank you so much for sharing the precious video of Ava Rae. She truly is an angel. She will never be forgotten. What an amazing thing to be able to touch the lives of so many people she never met. I have never met you, but I have been following your blog since you were pregnant with Ava. I have enjoyed reading your blog and seeing the updates on Kaden and Ava. I cried when I read of Ava's passing, just as I am sure many others that read your blog did. Ava touched myself as well as many others around her. Ava gave people hope. She showed that miracles do happen! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing her life with everyone who reads your blog. What an amazing child. You were hand picked to be Ava's family.
