New class, new friends...

Kaden started his first offical day of pre-k classes. He did well, although he DID NOT want to get up this morning. It made me laugh, I was trying to wake him up and he just kept shaking his "no" with his eyes still closed. What a grown up little man I have, just like most boys who do not want to wake up to go to school. Once we got there he was a little quiet for Kaden but I heard he got into the groove of things pretty fast. Many of his new friends had drawn him pictures on their free time. One little girl even went to the lengths of drawing a picture and folding it, putting it in an envelope and sticking it in his bookbag for him to find when he got home. Ooooh, Kaden's got a girlfriend (already)!!! I guess it is alright, since this year he hasn't really had a focus on one girl, not like last year!!! He fit right in and I think everyone (teachers that is)seem more comfortable with things. I am so proud of him. It is amazing to think that he just keeps getting older and older, kind of sad too. I did make it out of there this morning without crying, however, I was holding back the tears hardcore. He was very happy to see Nate and I when we picked him up and very eager to show us how he marched in class today...to cute, really!!!! My baby is growing up and won't slow down.

So Kaden has a girlfriend??? That is too dang cute. Sounds like he is going to be just fine mom. See I told you he was going to be just fine!

So if you find the secret to getting him up, let me know. I have to wake Coltan and Cody up at 5:45 because their bus gets here around 6:45. So it is a fun battle every morning. Heck I don't even have to get out of bed until 7:30. I don't even like getting up just to get them up. LOL

hang in there girl.....it does get easier. Tucker fought me this morning as well. but once he got there he grabbed his breakfast and headed to table with the all the other kiddos. Happy as a lark.
I am glad it went well and everyone was relaxed. I know that was a concern earlier. have a great Tuesday.!@@

I am so glad to hear it went well. I knew it would.

Amy, I still can not believe my 8th grader is an 8th grader, or my 4th grader is a 4th grader, or my 2nd grader is a 2nd grader.

Times fly by so fast, and I have no doubt that Kaden will be an excellent student and strive like no other. Just be proud. He is amazing.

I have no doubt he will be one popular kid and especially with the girls. He is a cutie pie.

I'm glad that Kaden's first day went well and that he already has a girlfriend. I hope this all eases your mind!

Tell Nate I watched a big buck walk across my front yard this morning.

Great to hear that Kaden had a good day at school. And that momma's fears seem to be eased alittle too.
Not surprising that he has a little girl friend.
