Must Be A Boy Thing...

Yesterday Nate and I took Kaden to Boo in the Zoo. Kaden had so much fun. He dressed up in his costume (which is by the way, Mickey Mouse). It got a little too warm so we took off the hood/ears. He loved going around getting candy...he didn't care about the animals at all. He also loved seeing all of the other children in their costumes. He found Minnie Mouse and got really excited. We met my sister and the The Hulk (a.k.a my nephew, Miles) there as well. I have pictures to post but my battery is really low so I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

After the zoo, we went to visit Nate's family and celebrate our nephew Treytan's third birthday. Before going to the party, we went out to Nate's parent's farm so Kaden and Miles could ride on the 4-wheeler. They loved that. It was very cute to watch the excitement on their faces. When they came back from visiting the cows, I walked over to help Nate get the boys off of the 4-wheeler. As we were walking back to the car, I stepped on a rock and lost my footing and ended up falling to the ground. I am so sore now and have some pretty good bruising on my left side. I guess as Nate was asking me if I was alright, Kaden was laughing...I would do anything to make my little man laugh ; ), little turd. I have heard that being pregnant can make you more "clumsy" but...ouch. I never fell with Ava...however, with Kaden I fell down the stairs twice. Once I was holding a glass jar of Miracle Whip (I know but I was in the process of packing my lunch for work that morning). I ended up walking into our bedroom (where Nate was sleeping) crying with miracle whip and blood up my arm. I can only imagine what was going through Nate's mind waking up to that!!! So I have decided that baby boys make mommies clumsy : ).

I fell down the stairs when I was pregnant with Hunter and was also involved in a fender bender....both of which I freaked out and went to see the doctor. My first pregnancy and I was overly worried. :) I am glad you are ok, just minor bruises. I will be looking for the pictures later. Have a great Monday.

Now that's a mental image... of you with the mirale whip. :) I was clumsy with Caden too. Fell once walking the dog. I tried to do the "tuck and roll" and jump up real quick before anyone saw me. It was a busy street. I was really embarassed, and my ankle was pretty skinned up. I know how you feel! Not so bad this time... yet. :)

Yes your right. I think I had one good fall with each of my three boys. Unless I'm falling over toys left on the stairs, I never fall. Good luck and I hope your soreness goes away. I guess everytime you hurt, you can think about Kaden's giggles?????

Love you guys
