What A Fighter

Ava is still fighting. I just sit back and think..."Wow, what another miracle baby." Most people do not experience many miracles and for us to experience two in less than four years...I feel truly blessed. As I have said before, I thank God for trusting Nate and I with such special lives. We talked to the doctor earlier and he said that if things continue to go well (knock on wood) that she could be home in four weeks or so (again, knock on wood). I know that he was just guessing, but hey I will take it. She was able to be weaned from 100% oxygen yesterday, to room air today... and still maintaining her sats where they want them. She is so unbelievably strong and I am just so thrilled to be her mommy....just like with Kaden. Please continue to pray for her as God is hearing your prayers and she is not out of the woods yet and still needs every prayer she can get. Nate and I thank you all soooooo much for EVERYTHING, it is because of all of you as well for her wonderful progress...so again, PLEASE KEEP PRAYING.

Isabella made it through surgery well and is resting with the comfort of her mommy and daddy by her side. Please continue to pray for her quick recovery.

I just want to "knock on wood," it is always hard to write good news, you never want something bad to happen afterwards. So....KNOCK ON WOOD

Nate and Amy,

We are so glad to hear that she is doing so well. The POWER OF PRAYER will never cease to amaze me. It is amzing to see what young ones are capable of enduring. Andi and I are so proud to have the pleasure of considering you all friends(family) the Strength and Love you show for your kids and for each other is truly inspirational. We will continue to pray for strength for Ava and you all. Talk with you all soon.

Yay! Glad she's on room air! That's a huge improvement! I hope she did marvelous overnight and I am praying for nothing but good news in today's update. Keep up the good work, Ava! What a fighter! Has she started getting the daily chest xrays? If so, how are they looking?

It is wonderful to hear good news. Our kids have been been remembering to put Baby Ava in their nightly prayers. Even though they do not know her they will be excited to hear something good. Prayers do amazing things. We will continue to pray for Ava and the entire family.
With God's blessings,
Travis & Nickie Haverkamp and family

I am so glad to hear that Ava is doing better. Off of oxygen and breathing on her own, that is very good news. I am sure that Kaden is excited to see his baby sister and get her home, that way he does not have to worry if he is going to the hospital for the Dr's to poke or prop him. Bless you all and take care. You are in our prayers all the time.
Love you lots,
Pamela and Megan
