Her Chest is Closed

Ava just came back from OR and her chest is closed!!!! She is doing well and so far has no significant problems. Just another testiment that prayers do work.

Hallelujah! Heal, Ava, Heal!
She is so strong! It's truly amazing what our HLHS kiddos can make it through!

Still in our prayers,

It won't be long until she's doing just as good as just as pink! You'll be so amazed with her progress once you're home!

And it wouldn't have bothered me one bit if you borrowed the Chosen Mothers poem from me.... afterall, that's why it's there....!!

Praise God. I walked by and saw her back in her room. She is just so beautiful. Praying for you always.

And not even a little setback. Praise God. That is soooo awesome. Prayers most definitely move mountains. And this little lady has an army praying for her. It sounds like she is doing incredible. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers and hopefully you’ll be able to cuddle your sweet baby again soon.

Love and Prayers,

Gary & Diane Haverkamp

You go Ava!! I knew you would be a little fighter like your brother. Definetly a big step for her. I hope all continues to go as well as it has so far. I am sure it won't be long and you will all be in the peace and quiet of your own home. Last night Dylan was filling these forms out for school and he wanted to send one to you guys. I wrote down the address for him and he said, Junction City?, I thought they live in Kansas City. I said no. And he said like duh, at the RMH. I had to explain to him that was just until Ava got strong enough to go home and that I thought Nate and Kaden were going to go home for a few days this weekend. It was so cute.
Anyway, continue to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I am constantly checking to see if there is news on Ava and Kaden. I am not sure if we will be down this weekend or not. We will let you know.
Big, Big hugs
Amy
