We Have A Date

We finally have a date for surgery. I know some of you have been about as anxious as we have been waiting for one. The day is this Monday. They said first thing, so I am guessing 7 or 8. Ava is doing well (knock on wood). I hate to say too much right now. Nate and I have still been holding her which is nice and today she was wide awake for both of us. My dad just came down to help out, so it will be nice for Nate and I to see her together. It is hard right now to get on to a computer between our schedules and others using the computers here at RMH. I will continue to try and update as much as possible. Thanks again for all your support and prayers.

Oh Amy, it is so great to get an update. We, along with many others, have been saying lots of prayers! Does anyone in your family have a laptop, maybe they could loan it to you. We would lend your ours, but we are a little out of reach. I emailed you my #, but I haven't gotten a picture...I want to see Miss Ava. Maybe I will have Jason send a text, save his # and then send us one. We aren't back in KC till the 23rd, but we will be visiting!
Tons of love and prayers! Gabi will keep Ava safe!

We are so glad to hear that things are going well for the 4 of you. As always we are praying for Ava's strength and healing. We talk of you often and you are always in our thoughts. We hope to come down of Sat. but, we will have to make sure all of our health is good. We are still messing with winter cruddy colds. Syd had to finally get a shot yesterday. She just couldn't seem to whip it. Give Kaden a big hug from all of us and baby Ava too. Can't wait to see you guys this weekend.
XOXOXO
Michael, Amy and kids

We are saying lots and lots of prayers. Matt and I will be in the hospital Monday for Special Care clinic. If we get to town early enough we will try to find you in surgery waiting. If not we may catch you in the PICU. I am so glad to hear Miss Ava is holding her own and doing great. There are tons and tons of people praying for her.
Love and prayers

Joe and I have some friends that just recently arrived at Children's Mercy. Their daughter has a problem similar to Ava's. You might run into them soon! The parents are Brian and Ellen Gulliams.

A prayer chain has been started for Ava at my Women's group. She will have a lot of angels looking over her.
