Kaden

Today was Kaden's last day of pre-k. It totally hit me tonight, that he is going to be in Kindergarten in a couple of months...definitely brought a tear to my eye. I can't believe how far he has come, how much he has overcome and how much he has proved doctors wrong. I told him tonight that I think he is absolutely amazing and he just looked at me with an "come on mom" look and nodded his head yes (whatever you say mom!).

So, I just wanted to share what he typed out today:
"new school call kindergarten write you numbers letters look at books play with toys cut paper home for ovilla (meant to be Oliva [cartoon]) is a pig ovilla dress up on ha your bus to animal prade (parade) four sleeps"

I'm not too sure what the "four sleeps" is for, unless he thinks he will be starting Kindergarten in "four sleeps".

I think he seems pretty excited to start his new "big boy" school. I on the other hand can wait :).

Oh and boy do I have some pictures of one cool man. Today, Kaden rode on grandpa's motorcycle down the alley and back (twice, he wanted more). He was disappointed however, because he wanted to ride to his friends house. I told him he will have to wait until he is at grandpa's (grandpa only lives a block from his friend's house).

I know that feeling.

Although my boys have not overcome the things that Kaden has in life, they still have been thru more than any kid should with seeing thier father beat thier mother for 4 yrs. They are amazing kids to me!

I am in shock that this year, on August 18th, I will have a FRESHMAN (for goodness sake), a 5TH GRADER (OMGOSH) and a THIRD GRADER (holy cow) AND A TWO YR OLD that seems to have just been born yesterday and acts like she is 21! LOL

The funny thing that gets to me is that when Melana enters Kindergarten....MASON WILL BE IN COLLEGE!

holy moley....what a freak out!

Kaden is spelling soooooo good. I am thoroughly impressed!!! Big Time!

I think what he was trying to say is (4 weeks) not (4 sleeps).

You think?

What an adorable boy. :o) I always look forward to your updates. It reminds me that trached kids can do whatever a naked neck kid can do... it just takes a little creative thinking.

Go Kaden! I hope he enjoys kindie class!

Wow, what a big boy he is becoming. I was looking at pictures of Carson the other day and just cannot believe my baby is already THREE.

I loved the pics of the boys. Brody is really getting big as well. How much does he weigh now? I finally got Carson in the 28 pounds. That is such a mile stone for me. He kept bouncing between 25-26 pounds.

I was in Baldwin KS last Saturday but I didn't decide it till almost 11:00AM so I figured it was really short notice to call you.

HOpefully someday we will get together with the kiddos!

Thanking of your family often,

Kaci

Kaden is growing up... You are becoming a big boy, and every time I see you I am blessed to be your Aunt. You have overcome so much and have proven the Dr's wrong on so many things. I am so proud of you. You just keep striving for more and doing more. Your little brother Brody will look up to you for guidance and I know that you will be there and help him to learn and be a big boy like you.
As for mommy it is hard to let our children grow up, especially when they start showing that I am becoming independant and try to do more things on their own and your like but I helped you with this. I am glad to see that he is so excited about Kindergarten, Yea Kaden. We are going to try and come see you all this Sunday and check out all the progress on the house and everything, if you need anything let me know.
Hugs and kisses to all.
Love Aunt Pamela
