Brody Jace Boeckman Born 02-09-09

We checked into the hospital around 7:15 a.m. and about 1230 p.m. the doctor began the c-section procedure. Brody Jace Boeckman was born big and healthy at 1241 p.m.
Brody weighed 11 lbs and was 23 inches in length. Everyone is doing good. Looks like Wednesday is the day to bring Brody home. Kaden wanted to hold Brody as soon as he saw Brody. Kaden was done holding Brody after about two minutes. Kaden told Brody bye bye and then tried to push Brody off his lap towards grandma. We had to have a talk with Kaden about how little (if you can call Brody that)Brody is and he has to be really gentle with him.

It feels great to hold Brody and know that he will be coming home soon.

Pictures will be coming soon.

Congratulations! Wow, that's a big baby boy!

My kids were born at 10 lb 7 oz, 10 lb 7 oz (yep the first two weighed exactly the same) and 9 lb 2 oz.

The last one was the smallest but he decided to come out with his elbow by his ear...ouch.

It helps restore your faith when you have a fresh start. Although our hearts will always ache for our little angels, it helps to know we have the opportunity for what we do deserve. I hope in know way this sounds harsh, but I think you and I are on a definitely page and this will make sense to you.
I am so happy things went so well. And when you do bring Brody home...ENJOY!!! I never wanted to put Kinsley down, it was as if I was afraid to, but my mom got upset if I didn't let her hold her grandbaby:) Get as much rest as you can before going home.
How exciting for Kaden, he is gonna be such an incredible big brother, even if he did get tired of holding Brody...I'd say it because the boy is so dang big. WOW, you and Nate must of done something right:)

Take care! We love you guys...
xoxo to all!

WOW!!!! First of all congrats!!! But wow at 11 lbs! I was 10.7 when I was born many moons ago - geez!!! Thank goodness you had a C-section. My son was 9.5 and I did not have a c-section... I can't believe how big Brody was!!! And I love the name. I always wanted to name a boy Jace, but my cousin took Jason and called him Jace - so Avery we had instead!!!! Can't wait to see pics!

I recall a post you had sometime ago about being anxious about taking an infant home sounds like someone heard you for you are taking home a toddler. He will be walking before you know it.All joking aside. Cassi and I are thinking of you holding your Brody. Your Journey will help us when the time comes for us. I am happy to hear the good news.

PS
I'm a first time reader here and have tears streaming down my face as I read the chosen one poem. Three of my four sons have disabilities and we are in the process of changing our 5 year old to a specialist school. It's breaking my heart but I know it's best for him.
That poem says so much to me, thankyou !!
