I Am So Lucky...

I have the best job in the world...ok, not really. Today I was doing things to get stuff ready for group that I am now coordinating and ended up having to pick up a little man and hang out with him for awhile. While we were in a company vehicle (thank goodness), I hear "Mrs. Amy" and I turn around. He had thrown up all over himself along with part of the van. I asked him why he didn't tell me that he didn't feel good and he said "I told you I missed my mommy." I should have known : ). I felt so bad for him, but I do not do throw up. As I handed him paper towels to try to get some of it off of him, I was so close to throwing up myself. Driving him home, I almost threw up on the van too. UGH...talk about the most frustrating part...I came back and had to clean up this vomit with some type of vomit clean up kit, which didn't work that well. I spent so much time cleaning up this mess, I think I need a raise!!! I don't know what I am going to do when Brody gets sick. Kaden has a fundo so he can't throw up (which makes me feel horrible for him when he is sick). So that was the "highlight" of my day.

I am so glad I get to come home to Kaden, he always makes everything better, especially on days like today. How could he not...look at him. Now I just hope that we don't get sick.

I hope that the poor boy threw up because of your driving and not from having a bug. LOL I think that while your pregnant, someone at your work should have helped you!!! Hey, I'm just looking out for you.

Anyways, one thing I can always stomach is vomit. I was actually doing CPR on someone once and he threw up on my arm and I wiped it off and kept going. Everyone around me was throwing up. Kind of funny now that I look back on it. I would have helped you if I lived closer.

I will pray that you don't get sick.

Hope your night is very unevetful and you get plenty of rest.

Love to all

PS, Carson is still having nightmares and no one can tell me why. They believe it is some sort of emotional problem which is breaking my heart. They have now scheduled him with Behavioral Medicine for sometime in Feb. Has Kaden been in that clinic? Not sure what to expect there.

Oh Yucky!!!! I do NOT do throw up either!!! I can do poop all day long, but throw up....no way!

What do you do for a living? I forget!

Sorry your day was bad, but like you said...Thank the Lord for Kaden! You can come home and smile every day just looking at him.

How horrible! I'd be trying not to throw up too if I had been in the van.

Oh Man, so sorry you had to do that. I have learned to tolerate those kinds of situations. It's not easy sometimes, but I think you held yourself well.

Happy New Year!

Yuck! So I missed a few weeks while my blog was out of order and now I'm confused. Where are you working now?! Sorry about vomit, yeah it sucks. If it makes you feel any better, I had to clean up a bunch of poop from the floor this morning. Chels was trying to help, and she took off the poopy diaper, then sat down (yeah smearing it) and then put on her jeans. All in about 30 seconds ... it was a good try!

Oh Amy how awful. Hey I am right there with you on the throw up though. I can not do that it gets my gag reflexes going and oh yuck. Sorry to hear your day was not so great. How is Kaden doing in his new Pre-K classes?
Love, Pamela

How yucky!! Hopefully the little guy gets to feeling better. I am so sorry that you had to clean it up. Your a brave woman! I don't know that I could have done that. I think I would have had take it to one of those drive through car detailing places. I hope you don't get sick.
