OH RATS!!!

Easter was good. Kaden wasn't into coloring the eggs, but he didn't mind hunting for them. He was really excited about the goodies he got in his Easter basket...one of the things being a collection of Max and Ruby dvd's from grandma and grandpa (one of his favorite cartoons). So on to the "Oh Rats"...either Max or Ruby said it (not sure which one, I missed that part) but Kaden typed it out on his "white." I explained to him that people say "oh rats" when they mess something up. Then daddy comes home and Kaden has to show him the new phrase he learned and typed it out again. Nate asked him if he knew what it meant and he typed "oh rats mess up." He then goes on to tip over his toy box and types "oh rats" again. I told him he can't do something on PURPOSE and say it. So he starts knocking the toys out of the box that didn't fall out, all the while repeating "oh rats, oh rats." I gave up and started laughing!!!

lol Awwww. I wonder if you can make up your own sign for this expression? That would be adorable. Maybe like one of those dramatic finger snaps or something. :o)

He is AMAZING with "white". Typing and spelling,,,,look at all the things he is processing in his brain. It is really great Amy.

Kaden is so cute. He is so smart. I am sure that will be his favorite expression for a while.

That is too cute. Carson doesn't say that but he does have a lot of "on purpose" accidents and tells me that he did it on accident. We are really working on that right now.

I'm glad you had a nice Easter. Give the boys a hug and kiss from me.

I just found your blog through Annabelle Lynn's blog, and I've been reading it for the past hour. I, too, lost my baby girl, London, to HLHS on 9/13/07. She was 2 days old and died during the Norwood procedure. I have a little boy, Jagger, who is 3 1/2, and we were just blessed with another healthy boy, Jack, born on 2/22/09. We, like you and your family, miss our only daughter. I grieve the same things that you do, although I am so thankful for my boys. I just felt so in tune with your situation and your loss, so I wanted to introduce myself. Thank you for your blog and your faith. It's great knowing I'm not alone! Have a great week. Your children are adorable, by the way!

Hi Amy - You don't know me. I found your blog through Niff (Mackenzie's blog). I have read your blog from the beginning and just finished it (to get caught up to date) today. You are an AMAZING person and your children are also amazing. I was sooo sorry to hear about Ava. I have shed many tears on your blog. I love all of the pictures of her and think the world of you for continuing her memory. You are such a good mommy. You make me laugh with all the stories you tell about Kaden. He seems like such a little ham. And, Brody...I can NOT believe how big he is. He is absolutely adorable. I had a baby on 12/19/08 and he isn't even fitting into all of his 3-6 month clothes yet! Thank god you had a c section!!! Ok, that's it for now. Good luck to you with your new job. I will be stopping by to see how things are from time to time! Your family really inspires me! Take care!
